Bathroom Pod Install Complete in South Bromley

Elements Europe has completed installation at a new Premier Inn development in South Bromley.

131 Bathroom Pods were manufactured, delivered and installed with Elements Europe working in conjunction with main contractor McLaren Construction, ensuring each delivery arrived just in time for installation around its major works.

Bathroom Pods were manufactured in line with Premier Inn’s current bathroom specification, ID4, a design style Elements Europe has manufactured to for a number of developments around the country.

The hotel when complete will be an important part of the Bromley South Central Regeneration Scheme, a scheme which will see £90 million invested in the area to provide a mixed use scheme including restaurant, retail and residential accommodation.

Elements Europe Raise Money for Macmillan

Elements Europe has participated in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning again this year, to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Members of the team promoted the event, baked cakes to sell and raised a total of £176 by selling their tasty treats in the reception on the 30th September.

Carol Morris who organised the event commented “Our cakes went down a treat here at our manufacturing site and most importantly we raised money for an excellent cause.”

First Modular School Building Complete

Elements Europe has delivered its first modular school. Executed as a turnkey solution, the children of St Aidan’s Primary Catholic School in Illford, Essex are now enjoying their first term in their brand new facilities.

Elements Europe’s on-site construction team firstly managed the demolition of the existing classroom block, laid foundations in which the modular classrooms would be placed upon, manufactured, delivered and installed the classroom modules, and went on to complete the envelope of the building as well as construct a new play area for the children.

The new building consists of 9 new classrooms, 2 offices and 2 wc’s. Adaptability was key for this project with a clear brief to ensure classrooms could be made bigger and smaller when necessary. With this in mind, modules were manufactured ensuring that they could accommodate temporary curtain walls for the school to be able to achieve their vision for future learning.

In total 36 modules were supplied to the scheme including modular stairwells and corridor cassettes.

The majority of the project was delivered during term time meaning careful thought had to go into delivery and install times to ensure minimal disruption to the children.

Neil Rivers, Site Manager commented “We have executed this modular school building as a turnkey solution, the first of its kind for Elements Europe, the project has reaped the benefits of this collaboration, being delivered in time for the children’s return for the new term.”

“We look forward to delivering more modular school buildings in the future.” He added.

The children also got involved with the project by designing their dream play area. Elements Europe presented the children with book vouchers for the hard work and imaginative designs.

Room Module Installation Complete at Apart-Hotel

Elements Europe has completed installation of all Room Modules to its Apart-Hotel development in Hammersmith.

The 89 hotel style bedrooms were designed in line with the client’s specifications. Each feature a sleeping area, large desk to allow visitors to work comfortably, fitted wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom.

Now that all Room Modules are installed, Elements Europe’s transport team will deliver the roof cassettes.

Following this, Elements Europe’s on-site construction team will work on the envelope of the building.

Bathroom Pod Win with Motel One

Elements Europe has again secured a contract with Motel One to deliver Bathroom Pods for another of its brand new hotels.

Elements Europe will manufacture and deliver 350 Bathroom Pods as well as 24 access Bathroom Pods to its latest hotel development in Glasgow’s city centre.

Manufacture has recently commenced in the factory and Bathroom Pods have already started to be delivered to site.

Its aesthetics is what sets this German hotel brand apart. The Pods will reflect the high-quality nature of the Motel One brand with its black, cream and white colour scheme, walk-in shower enclosures with black shower trays and countertop sinks.

The £22 million development which is set to be the largest Motel One in Scotland is being constructed by Ogilvie Construction, a contractor Elements Europe has worked alongside previously to deliver Motel One in Edinburgh.

“We are delighted to be delivering yet another Motel One development” commented Kevin Arthur, Director at Elements Europe.

“The team will be working very closely with Ogilvie Construction in the coming months to ensure Bathroom Pods are delivered to site in line with the build schedule to ensure a seamless install” he added.
