Premier Inn Bathroom Pods
Bathroom Pods for Premier Inn Wandsworth

Elements Europe has signed contracts to manufacture 120 bathroom pods for Premier Inn Wandsworth.  The project is an extension to an existing Sainsbury’s superstore to provide Hotel accommodation at this popular location.  The development is being progressed in a joint venture partnership between Sainsbury’s and Land Securities.

Bowmer and Kirkland is the main contractor with Elements Europe acting as the off-site manufacturer of the bathroom pods.

The project will be a further extension of Elements Europe’s experience in delivering on behalf of the Whitbread Premier Inn hotel brand.  This has seen the development of sites implementing the bathroom pod and Roompod off-site construction methods. Bowmer and Kirkland and Elements Europe are currently working together on another Premier Inn hotel in Croyden which will soon be handed over to Whitbread.

“We are delighted to manufacture pods once again for Premier Inn, off-site construction offers obvious benefits to the hotel sector through speeding up the construction process and allowing the operator to open sooner” comments Kevin Arthur Sales Director at Elements Europe.

Bowmer and Kirkland has commenced the on-site works and Elements Europe will shortly complete the manufacture of the pods.  Installed later within the year, the bathroom pods will assist in the delivery of this challenging programme which sees the hotel opening its doors autumn 2013.
