What is M.A.P.?
A Modular Adaptation Pod (M.A.P) can be installed onto properties which require adaptation or modernisation to fulfil the changing requirements of the existing occupier. The simplicity and flexibility of its design can transform the living environment to assist occupiers with varying levels of restricted mobility.
M.A.P is a modular factory constructed pod, built offsite to the bespoke requirements of the client. It can be swiftly installed and tailored to match the aesthetics of whichever building it connects to, through total flexibility on external and roofing finishes.
The innovative nature and affordability of the modular adaptation pods creates a multitude of new conversion possibilities that have been previously unavailable. If required, the pod is also capable of being removed enabling it to be transferred between properties, upgraded, re-fitted or simply to allow the home to be returned to its previously unmodified condition.
Modular Offsite Benefits
Offsite procurement ensures a continuously high quality product is manufactured; every Elements Europe product is subject to rigorous quality checks through the in-house management quality control procedure we operate within the factory. Our facility currently operates at less than 2% waste, compared to traditional construction which is circa 10% material wastage. Health and Safety is also substantially improved through construction works being undertaken in a controlled and weather proof environment.
From a cost and programme perspective please allow us the opportunity to quote your individual requirements, however we have consistently proven more cost effective than traditional and can substantially reduce installation times. From receipt of order our programme is 4-6 weeks for full construction design, manufacture and installation. With only the foundation works being undertaken onsite, disruption is also minimised.
Who are the clients?
Typically enquiries are received for residential housing adaptation where the occupier has a disability or health care problem which requires adaptation to their existing accommodation to improve the quality of life for both themselves and their family. To date Elements Europe’s clients include Housing Associations, Registered Social Landlords, Local Authorities and Private Clients where disabled bedroom, bathroom, wet rooms, children’s play areas, storage and kitchens facilities are required.
