    HEALTH CARE

    Care Homes

According to Colliers, the Local Authority spending cuts resulting from the Government’s Comprehensive Spending Review are undoubtedly presenting challenges in the short to medium term for the elderly healthcare sector. Local Authority Operators are likely to face difficulties as fee growth is unlikely to keep pace with cost inflation in 2012. There has been a sharp increase in the number of local authority care homes closing. However, the Private Sector is continuing to grow as a result of austerity measures for those operating high quality care homes.

With an ageing population and an increasing need for quality care homes, privately owned establishments are likely to remain in demand.

Elements Europe has worked on numerous care home projects and has developed long term relationships with care operators. Our procurement and operational teams have experience of tailoring their products to meet the needs of their clients including specialist extra care or secure care homes.
