Premier Inn, Waterloo, London- Bathroom Pods
Client: Premier Inn
Architect: Dexter Moren
Elements Europe, working in collaboration with the main contractor John Sisk, has successfully manufactured and delivered a Premier Inn in Waterloo, Central London.
This scheme will be a further extension of Elements Europe’s experience in delivering on behalf of the Whitbread Premier Inn hotel brand. A relationship which has seen the development of new sites implementing the Bathroom Pod and Room Pod innovative off-site construction systems.
Project Description: 196 Bathroom Pods
The project delivered a total of 196 Bathroom Pods, designed in accordance with the specific design requirements of the Premier Inn brand.
The development was in an irregular shaped former hospital building. Many original features were maintained including its traditional façade to protect the building’s listed status.
The site on which the project was completed posed logistical challenges due to its central London location. All modules were initially delivered and stored in a warehouse in East London as requested by the contractor. These were then delivered to site when required by John Sisk. All deliveries were undertaken out of hours on weekends to assist the main contractor’s programme.
