Salvation Army

The Client

Elements Europe was the preferred supplier of Bathroom Pods to The Salvation Army.

Thus far Elements Europe has delivered three projects for The Salvation Army, all of which were completed to provide accommodation for ex-servicemen who required support after returning from duty.

Project Description: 35 Bathroom Pods

The first scheme completed was in Camberwell, East London. The scheme comprised of 35 Bathroom Pods and saw Elements Europe working with the main contractor Higgins Construction.

The second scheme, located in Coventry, was undertaken by Elements Europe and the main contractor Bowmer & Kirkland. Elements Europe successfully manufactured and installed 80 Bathroom Pods.

On the third project, located in Grimsby, Elements Europe worked in collaboration with the main contractor Lindum, to manufacture and install 35 Bathroom Pods.

All of the bathrooms were designed to be extremely robust, a great deal of attention went into the selection of materials used. A solid grade compact door was chosen, as well asĀ anti-ligature shower heads. No tiles were used within the Bathroom Pods instead being replaced with PVC. Energy efficiency was of great importance thus low water usage systems were installed.
